Our reporters at J-Network have difficulty deciding whether to describe “MAN WITH A MISSION” as a five-man band or a five-wolf pack – the Shibuya-based hard rock group is perhaps best known for its members wearing uniquely designed wolf masks when performing in concerts or filming their music videos. Anime fans may remember the group for singing amongst others, the opening themes for The Seven Deadly Sins and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. With their latest album titled “The World’s On Fire” released earlier this year in February and peaking at third place on the Oricon charts, this is one band that is certainly poised to set the world on fire in excitement for their upcoming tour!
On their official website, MAN WITH A MISSION has revealed details for their inaugural Asia tour that will see their legendary wolves perform in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The band will be performing at the St James Power Station, located a stone’s throw away from the HarbourFront MRT Station, on the 27th of July (a Wednesday) for their Singapore stop, which will open its doors at 7pm. The concert begins an hour after the venue opens.
Subsequently, they will proceed to Music Zone @ E-Max, which is connected by free shuttle bus services to the Kowloon Bay MTR Station, on the 29th of July (a Friday) for their Hong Kong stop, which will open its doors at 7.30pm. The concert also begins an hour after the venue opens.
Finally, they will join over forty other prominent international music acts ranging from Porno Graffiti to Carly Rae Jepsen at the ‘SUPER SLIPPA’ – 2016 Taipei Super Summer Music Festival as part of the SUPER STAGE component on the 31st of July (a Sunday) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center for their Taiwan stop, which will open its doors at 11am. The venue is served by the Taipei Metro station of the same name.
Fans across the three countries in Asia can look forward to catching MAN WITH A MISSION later this year in July at their respective venues. More information on ticketing and prices will be revealed by the band on their official website.
