5. (ネトゲの嫁は女の子じゃないと思った?) And you thought there is never a girl online? (also known as NetoYome) with 442 votes

4. (文豪ストレイドッグス) Bungou Stray Dogs with 483 votes
-With an all star cast boasting names such as Mamoru Miyano and Yoshimasa Hosoya, Bungou Stray Dogs also has an interesting, compelling story line. It is about ‘detectives’ with unique supernatural powers (based off the works of famous authors!) in a world where some cases are too dangerous for law enforcement agencies to handle on their own.

3. (坂本ですが?)Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto with 552 votes
-This screencap is definitely familiar to most otakus by now. Sakamoto Desu Ga? focuses on popular high school student Sakamoto who is able to resolve even the most bizarre of situations with his ridiculous level of utter perfection. The anime boasts a star-studded cast as well, featuring veteran seiyuu such as Hikaru Midorikawa and Akira Ishida. With a funny premise and hilarious characters, it is no wonder why Sakamoto Desu Ga? has made its way into the third position on this list.

2. (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- with 564 votes
-With (deceptively) cute, colourful visuals and an interesting premise that appeals to otakuRe: ZERO centres on a boy called Natsuki who is spirited away to a different world marked by danger and mystery. While in that world, he also gains a new ability called “Returns by Death” which allows him to rewind time to a certain point after his death, complicating things for Natsuki even more.

So, which anime is the anime that the most people want to continue watching from the Spring 2016 season? A prominent title has yet to appear despite it being one of the most hyped anime for the season. Having attained the top position in this poll, it has lived up to the hype and has definitely sparked interest by being one of 2016’s most anticipated Anisong collaborations.

1. (甲鉄城のカバネリ) Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress with 572 votes
-Surpassing Re: ZERO by eight votes, from the animation studio that produced Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) comes Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. With stunning animation, a compelling plot set in an intricate post-apocalyptic world, wonderful music by Hiroyuki Sawano and awesome action scenes, it is unsurprising that viewers want to see more of this epic anime.

Spring 2016 has arguably been a strong season for anime, giving us viewers a wide variety of genres to choose from and interesting plots to spice up our lives. We are looking forward to seeing what summer 2016 can offer us with titles such as Amanchu!!, Arslan Senki: Fuujin Ranbu and D.Gray Man HALLOW!
