YUZU Is Coming To Singapore This July

Contemporary Japanese music has seen significant variety and experimentation with genres, sometimes even blending two or more of such music styles together. Kitagawa Yujin and Koji Iwasawa are two such individuals who have come together to bring a winning combination of pop-rock and folk music to their works. The duo go by the stage name of YUZU, and their discography has proven a huge hit with fans; a good thirty-eight out of their forty-three singles have made it to the top five spots on the Oricon charts for sales. YUZU has in fact just released their most recent album, “TOWA“, earlier this year on the 13th of January, 2016, and next year will mark their twentieth anniversary since their debut.

Fans in Singapore can now look forward to watching them perform live soon! Avex Asia has announced on their Facebook page that the duo will be performing in Singapore at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre on the 9th of July 2016, a Saturday. This year is YUZU‘s first time ever coming to Singapore for a concert, and a commemorative limited-time-only offer will be up for two weeks (from the 13th to the 27th of May) where concert-goers can buy two VIP tickets at a discounted price of S$125 per ticket. The standard price for general admissions tickets is S$118 while that for VIP tickets is S$138. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch them!

Besides Singapore, which is the first stop for the YUZU ASIA TOUR 2016 Summer NATSUIRO event, YUZU will also perform in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Osaka and Tokyo at a variety of venues, such as E-max Music Zone, ATT SHOW BOX, Zepp Namba, and TOYOSU PIT, with the tour wrapping up on the 3rd of August 2016.
