HoneyWorks Movie’s Promotional Video Revealed Alongside Staff Information

A few months ago, it was announced that an anime film adaptation of HoneyWorks’ Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai ~Renai Series (Confession Executive Committee ~Love Series) had been green-lit. More details have been released just recently, ranging from the promotional video to even the release date of the movie!

The movie, titled “ずっと前から好きでした ~告白実行委員会~” (ROM: Zuttomade Kara Suki Deshita ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~ ENG: It Was Love From Long Ago ~Confession Executive Committee~) will be released on 23 April 2016!

Helming the production of this movie is Tetsuya Yanagisawa who has directed High School DxD and some episodes of The Vision of EscaflowneMaki Fujii will be in charge of character design and is also the chief animation director. Her previous works as character designer include Starry Sky and 07-Ghost.

The cast list remains unchanged, although some new additions have been made. The new additions to the cast are as follows:

Koyuki Ayase: Tsubasa Yonaga (Nagi Mikado from Uta no Prince-samaAichi Sendou from Cardfight!! Vanguard)
Hina Setoguchi: Momo Asakura (Ayumi Otosaka from Charlotte, Manako from Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou)
Kotarō Enomoto: Natsuki Hanae (Takumi Aldini from Shokugeki no Soma, Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul)
Saku Akechi: Hikaru Midorikawa (Kyousuke Natsume from Little Busters!, Tamahome from Fushigi Yugi)
Sena Narumi: Sora Amamiya (Miia from Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul)

The first key visuals have also been released to fans waiting in anticipation for further details with regards to the movie:

 

The movie is set to be centred around the songs, Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu (Confession Rehearsal), Yakimochi no Kotae (A Solution for Jealousy) and Hatsukoi no Ehon (First Love’s Picture Book)all three of which have received light novel adaptations. While fans wait for 23 April 2016 to arrive, they can certainly look forward to the appearance of the HoneyWorks team itself during the annual Anime Festival Asia I Love Anisong concert series! The group is set to perform on Friday, 27 November 2015 alongside vocalist CHiCO!
