Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement The Movie Is Airing in Singapore!

Fans of one of last year’s hit anime “Date A Live” will be elated to learn that the sequel to “Date A Live II” has been released in the form of a movie, Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement! The previous main characters of this hit anime series, namely Itsuka Shido, Yatogami Tohka, Miku Izayoi, Itsuka Kotori, Yoshino and last but not least Yoshinon will be making a reappearance in the movie as the main characters, with Shido continuing as the protaganist.

The movie will also introduce a new character, who is as you might be able to deduce from the movie’s title, Mayuri. (voiced by Amamiya Sora who has also voiced Miia of Monster Musume and Akame of Akame ga Kill) The movie was released on the 22nd of August in Japan, and has now made it’s way to Singaporean fans, and is a Golden Village exclusive film being aired from 29 October, at the Plaza Singapura branch of the establishment. It has also been confirmed that an exclusive A3 size poster showing the movie cover will be given out for free with every purchased ticket, which cost $15 each.

Once again, J-Pop group Sweet Arms will be singing the ending song to the movie, titled “Invisible Date“. The movie also includes a solo insert song by Chihara Minori, who voices Miku in the anime and movie, named “Go! Summer Girl!” The very first opening theme of the original anime, “Date A Live“, sung by Sweet Arms will also be featured in the movie as an insert song.

Being the sequel to Date A Live II, the movie has a new, unique story line which was directed with the help of the writer of the original light novel, Keitaro Motonaga. For all Singaporean fans, make sure to catch Date A Live : Mayuri Judgement in theatres now!
