Earlier today, Amuse Inc Asia‘s official Facebook page has just revealed that the very popular Japanese alternative rock band ONE OK ROCK will be coming to Asia in January next year! The band, which comprises of Moriuchi Takahiro, Yamashita Toru, Kohama Ryota and Kanki Tomoya, will perform at five stops across the continent. More details have been announced.
To kickstart the tour, the band will be performing in Hong Kong at the Asia World Expo on the 14th of January (Thursday), followed by a stop in Taipei two days later on the 16th of January (Saturday) at the Taipei Arena. They will then proceed to Manila to perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on the 19th of January (Tuesday), the first time ONE OK ROCK will be making an appearance in the Philippines. Subsequently, expect to see the group live at the Thunder Dome in Bangkok on the 21st of January (Thursday), before they conclude their Asia tour with a bang at the Fort Canning Park in Singapore on the 23rd of January (Saturday).
For those in Singapore, you can look forward to purchasing the tickets through SISTIC starting from the 26th of September this year. The ticket prices have not yet been announced, so keep a lookout for any further updates!
Of particular interest, the tour is named after their latest album of the same name, 35xxxv, which was released earlier this year in February. The album topped the weekly Oricon charts, making it ONE OK ROCK‘s second best selling album after JinseixBoku= which was released in 2013. The quartet has also performed at venues such as the Nippon Budokan, the Yokohama Arena and the Yokohama Stadium before, and its music videos won the Best Rock Video award from MTV Video Music Awards Japan for three consecutive years.
ONE OK ROCK‘s upcoming Asia tour in January 2016 is definitely an event to look out for.
