Final Fantasy VII : Now on iOS

While a Final Fantasy VII remake for the Playstation 4 has been confirmed by developer Square Enix, the seemingly far away release date might create a rather dreadful wait. Fret no more as Square Enix will be launching Final Fantasy VII on iOS today!

What does this mean for fans of the video game and its spin-offs? This means that you can play Final Fantasy VII on your Apple devices, anywhere, anytime.

While the game itself is a port of the PC version, it comes with new features such as touchscreen controls and a newly added function that enables the player to skip random encounters and events. It can be purchased from the store for USD19.99.

The app will be made available on the Apple Store once it is updated. So far, there has been no news regarding whether or not Final Fantasy VII will be made available on Android. Nonetheless, fans anticipating the FFVII remake might want to give the iOS version a try while waiting!
