Kabuki, a form of traditional Japanese theater that dates back to the 17th Century, is about to be brought to Singapore in the form of Takizawa Kabuki, a famous Japanese stage show that is celebrating its 10th year anniversary with their first debut in Singapore. The show will be held at The Grand Theatre at Marina Bay Sands from 18th August 2015 to 23rd August 2015.

Takizawa Kabuki is directed by Johnny Kitagawa, who is the founder of boyband production agency Johnny and Associates. It will feature Japanese superstar Hideaki Takizawa from the J-Pop duo Trackey and Tsubasa.  The performance has been described as a exciting combination of live song, dance and drama, featuring elements of Japanese and Pop culture with state-of-the-art technology. Centred around the theme of the “Four Seasons of Japan“, the show will feature never-before-seen scenes as well as a selection of the best scenes from previous Takizawa Kabuki‘s shows. In addition to bringing in a strong entourage of 120 performers and crew, special effects will also be delivered via a snow machine
