Yesterday night, the official Twitter account for the recently ended anime adaptation of the satirical light novel series ‘Saenai Heroine No Sodatekata’ (translated as ‘How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend’) has announced that plans for its sequel has already been set into motion.
Translation: “[Sequel Confirmed!] The Saekano Festival has ended!! To all those who have lined up at our stands and participated, we would really like to give our thanks!!! And since the sequel (to the anime series) has now been confirmed, we shall begin our work! Many thanks!”
For those unfamiliar with the series, ‘Saenai Heroine No Sodatekata’ is a series of light novels written by Maruto Fumiaki (known for his scenario work on WHITE ALBUM2) which jocularly satires stereotypical character tropes and writing clichés seen in the wide range of Japanese entertainment media concerning games, novels, and otaku culture in general.
