After 18 Years, Kakashi’s Face Is Finally Shown To All

During the Naruto art exhibition in Tokyo, visitors who received the free Official Guestbook Shinden Fū no Sho were among the first to unravel one of anime’s greatest mysteries: Kakashi’s face. His face was shown in the Naruto manga entitled,  What Copy Ninja Kakashi’s Face Looks Like Under His Mask.

The story is about Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke discussing how to unravel Kakashi’s face for Sukea, a photographer who wants to take a picture of Kakashi’s face because it would be a great scoop. After a failed attempt, the three ninjas go home. As it turns out,  Sukea is actually Kakashi himself in disguise, and he reveals his face in the manga before taking a shower. At the end of the short panel, Kakashi plans to play around with Team 7 a few more times about what might be hiding under his mask.

The guestbook also features a short manga about Kiba and other extras.

The exhibition will sell a Michi Guidebook for 1,300 yen in the beginning of May that includes a long dialogue between Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda.

The exhibition runs from April 25 to June 28 in Tokyo and from July 18 to September 27 in Osaka. The exhibition includes new illustrations that Kishimoto created just for the exhibition and a display corner with models, clips, and other photos to give more background about the series.
