The Longest Battle In Anime History Is Now A Movie

It has been recently announced that this year, Dragon Ball Z will be having another movie, following Battle Of Gods, where the remains of Freiza’s army, Sorbet and Tagoma (as shown in the movie poster in bottom left and bottom right corners) come to Earth to use the Dragon Balls to wish for Freiza’s revival.

The release date of the movie is slated to be on 18th April 2015 and will be available in Japan in both 2D and 3D formats.

Lord Bills from Battle Of Gods is also seen in the poster, which may mean that we could see a Super Saiyan God in this movie as well, whether it is SSJG Goku or SSJG Vegeta, it is not yet known as of the time of writing. It is also not known how much stronger Frieza has become since the end of the Frieza Saga or the movie Fusion Reborn which is said to be set in the Majin Buu Saga where he was easily defeated by Gohan.

The picture also shows Sorbet and Tagoma wearing a new type of Scouter. It is not known if this type of Scouter will be able to measure the power levels of the Z Warriors or if it has a new function since power levels seemed to die off after the Frieza Saga, though it was briefly mentioned in the 2008 OVA Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!

Frieza has also gained a new form known as Golden Frieza, in which his powers are said to be simliar to that of a Super Saiyan God

Goku also gains a new form known as SSJGSS, an acended SSJ form of the SSJG. With striking blue hair and a blue aura, it seems that Goku broken his promise to Vegeta in the last movie. The promise stated that when needed Vegeta, would become the next SSJG.
